The Revised School Code (MCL 380.1147) was recently amended changing the minimum age requirement for a child to enroll in Kindergarten.  Please click HERE for more information on these changes, which will be phased-in over the next three years, beginning with the 2013-2014 school year.

If a child is not eligible for enrollment per the guidelines and will be five years old by December 1^st, a parent waiver option is available (click HERE). 

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:  The parent waiver must be submitted to Bath Community Schools before the beginning of the school year no later than:

June 1^st –    If the child currently resides in the Bath Community Schools district

August 1^st – If the child becomes a resident of the Bath Community Schools district after June 1st  (during the summer, forms will be accepted at our Central Office, 6175 E. Clark Rd.)
